Alrighty, I'll be glad to help though isolating the problem from a third-party perspective might be hard. Just make sure the custom profile field is named the same thing on your other forum, as that would break the code if you changed anything in its name

Ok this is a blast from the past but I would like to add another custom field that works the same as this but it would be above this one. Do I use the same format as above or do have to add another line of script?

I hope you don't mind me butting in. I don't understand any of this but my members would like something to add a Blog.

Is it possible that you can give me instructions from start to finish, as most of what has been posted, I don't understand!

You will add additional coding if you want to add something new, but I'm more than happy to help you through it. Can you tell me what you are wanting to add? Is it a customizable link with a set text (such as "I have a diary") like before, or is it something different now?

Sure! This is the solution I gave to the OP:
Basically, they made a board where members can post their "blogs"--which are threads. Threads are what we're currently posting in, so the first post might contain the blog information and all the other posts might be people commenting on it. It's up to you how you want to set up your own system. Then, each member would take the URL/link for their personal blog and put it in their profile. I helped the OP create and insert the code that lets members put up their individual links. If this is a solution that sounds like it would work for you, I can help you come up with your site's code for it.
