Is it possible to have a plugin of some sort that will automatically update all the plugins (like the Yootil Library or the Monetary System) to their newest/latest versions?

that just wouldnt be possible for a plugin to do. for one it requires being in the admin panel where plugins dont run, and two it requires consent from all the authors to just automatically access them in order to make changes. it would have to be done in the native coding.
there is rumor that the manage plugin area will eventually get indicators when an update is available, but it would still be a manual update. you really dont want things to automatically update anyways. lets say an update is pushed that it turns out later has a major bug. now you have all sorts of madness on your forum and you have to manually revert to a previous version again... but then it automatically updates it back. see where that is going?
make a new thread in the support area asking about plugin update notification and the devs will give you their thoughts on it.

Ah, I see! I was just wondering if I'm the only lazy one who didn't want to manually update all my plugins with the newer versions.

really, you only really need to update a plugin if there has been a fix to an existing bug or it adds a new feature that you want to try out. you now have the option of reloading a previous version.
what I suggest to everyone, is bookmark the support thread for the plugins you run. that way you get notified of activity on them, and if someone finds a bug you didnt even know about, you can keep your eyes open for it. as well as see when the bug gets (if) fixed. plus you get to see if someone suggests a feature that you agree sounds interesting you can add support on it or offer additional suggestions.
as an author, I have every one of my support threads bookmarked to see activity on them just in case. I suspect other authors do as well.

The other reason why I asked this was because when I delete and update the Monetary System, all my settings are lost, and it's tedious to go back to type everything back in again.

go into your admin panel. click plugins. then click "plugin library". when you get to the library, you should see where it says "Free" on each plugin. there are 2 buttons next to it. one of them is for "Install". click it.
