Basically what is happening is that while there are 3 smileys - hi, p, worship with hi.gif, p.gif, worship.gif. When using the drop-down box, hi and p are being mapped to worship. I've included 2 images to show what's happening. First image - the code in the red box was hand typed in at the top. The bottom is the preview. As you can see, they have different images. Second Image - As you can see in the Drop-down image, hi, p, worship have the same gif being displayed. If I click on them to add, it adds a ::worship:: code to the page. I'm not too sure why this is happening: Hi is Smilie[14] p is Smilie[23] worship is Smilie[39] in the array. There are 50 smilies in the array from 0 to 49. To be honest, I used the array from your original code prior to the update (the one where we added it to the Header and Footer). It worked perfectly, then. So now I'm wondering if it's me or the code, and if I've done something wrong - what is it that I've done?

Could you please leave a link to a guest friendly thread so I can take a look.
Thank you.

I'm not able to leave a link for you as it's a closed forum, and I'm not the owner. I'll talk to the owner, and see if we can work something out.

Maybe you could create a temporary category that is guest friendly and PM a direct link to that?
Or, if your admin would agree, maybe set up a temporary account that I could log-in with. then PM me the login details.. I'd not need to post anything, just see the posting page.
Failing that, post or PM me the full URLs of the conflicting smileys and I'll add them to my test site, but there's a good chance I'd not be able to recreate the issue.
By the way.. do you have anything in the censored words list of your forum?

Hi Todge. I'm still waiting for the admin to get back to me. However in the meantime I've managed to duplicate the error in a temporary created forum. I don't know if the closed forum has censored words - I've been given mod status so I can manage the smilies (I make my own). However, I do know that the temporary forum does not have censored words because I've done the minimum to get it in. I've installed plugins: Smilie Dropdown and Smilie management. The temporary forum is - testingsmiliesforum.proboards.com/It is open to guests, and also allows guests to post, so that should give you a bit of access. I was going to give you a temporary account, with mod ability - but it looks like the only accounts that it will let me set up ones linked to emails. I'll pm you with the text list if you need it. Thanks for your help Todge. Kiri

Strange.. : :: is working for me just fine on your forum, but ::hi:: and ::worship:: are indeed getting mixed up. Could you please PM me your entire smiley array so I can add it to me test forum and do some experimenting. Thanks.

PM is sent. Thanks for your help Todge. I appreciate it. And that IS interesting, because my : :: maps to ::worship:: still. But yours doesn't?

Could you please try Version 2.1.8. I have no idea why it singled out those smileys and not '::whip::' etc, that also contained both 'hi' and 'p', but after a small tweak it appears to be behaving itself now.
