Where do I put the Cbox in version 5?

the site recently updated and we used a cbox in the old version. Is there a way to add a cbox to the sidebar like before? A certain place I need to put it in?

Do you want to use the proboards Shoutbox or a third-party cbox, like cbox.ws

If you install a sidebar or side table plugin from Plugins > Plugin Library you can simply paste the code Cbox provided you into it.

i just wanted to know if there was a certain place i needed to put it into the sidebar.

Nope, just put it into the plugin userface, wherever you want it to show up. =)
