How do I find these? This is my first time working with the themes and the new version of PB. You go to: Admin > Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS> Visual Editor> and you should see the width option there.

Thank you for your reply. I found the visual editor but all I can find for the width is a %. I need to know the pixels or how to set the pixel width, so I can make a banner of the appropriate size. As you can see, my banner is too small and so is repeating as a tile. I would like to fix this. Again, thanks for your help!

Where you found the width as a percentage, you can change it to the width in pixels. For example it may be 90%, you can change it to 1000px, or whatever you choose.

_ Thanks Tressa that helped. What I'm struggling with now is how to get my banner aligned properly. I highlighted it in the picture because it is hard to see the difference between the menu bar and the background. How do I fix this, is there a way in visual editor or will I have to venture into the CSS? Thanks so much!

It would be easier for people to help if you would post a link to the forum. Is the image uploaded as a logo or the banner? If it is a banner, you can set your forum to the same width as the image, and banner image height to the height of the image.

alohomoraadventures.proboards.com/Sorry, I did not know forum links were allowed. It is uploaded as a logo, I will try making it a banner instead. Thanks! EDIT: It worked! Now I just need to figure out how to change the membergroups! Thanks so much!

Glad you got it fixed. When asking for help here it is usually best to provide a link to the forum.

Here is my board: artistic-designs.proboards.com/I'm having trouble creating a banner that will fit where the logo is supposed to go. My banner width is 300px but what is the height supposed to be? I don't like the fact that only the banner width is shown in the editor. Another question, can the banner image be inserted to the CSS?

There is a place for banner height. Go to: Admin > Themes > Advanced Themes & CSS > Visual Editor > Header(Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image > HeightI usually set mine a little more than the depth of my banner image, so that there will be a little bit of space between it and the Navigation bar underneath. The height that I have at the moment is 260px - just for example. Hope that helps. Sorry, I don't know anything about CSS!

That way the OP won't be getting this thread pop up in their "Participated" list. Thanks. Not sure why you'd want to add your banner via css but you can. You can go to about line 43 and you can add it there. @banner_background_image: url('http://yourimagehere.png');Or you can just add this to the bottom of your style sheet: #banner{background-image:url('http://yourimagehere.png'); }Or one last option, well two options would be just to add an image to your Global header so it shows on all themes: <img src="http://storage.proboards.com/2773176/i/QPEbzCpaAj_IC8GQLfAH.png" title="Bar1">or just add the css: <style> #banner{background-image:url('http://yourimagehere.png'); } </style>
