Stop image repeating

I have a gradient texture image that I use for the main boards, however I am also using the same image for post listings etc.

As you can see, the image is repeating. How would I resolve this issue?

Seems imgur is over-capacitated at the moment so I can't see the image you linked to. I'm not quite sure where you added the image to begin with but you'd need to add some css to the image you added...

background-repeat:no-repeat;

...but since you didn't provide a link to your forum I can't take a look and I did click the one in your profile but I can't view it as a guest, if that is even the site you are talking about.

If you can't provide a link where guests can view can you give me a bit more detail how you added the image to the post listings.

Are you able to see the image now?

Someone else added it for me so I'm not sure where it has been placed.

The forum is currently on MM and I'm not keen on the idea of taking it off as I want the skin to be kept private for the time being.

However, I could create a test account for you that gives you access to view the forum, and I'll PM you the password for it?

I can see the image now. No need for a guest account. If you used the Visual Editor to add the image, right below that you should have: Background Repeat and set it to no-repeat or if you just want it to repeat across but not down select repeat horizontally.

If you added an image via css to your style sheet then you'd need to add what I posted in my previous post or if you want it to repeat horizontally you'd add this:

background-repeat: repeat-x;

However, since you posted this in the header/footer board I'm wondering if you added something there to change it so how you added the image would help a lot if the above isn't addressing your problem.
