Recent posts shown on home page/info center

I know there's a link to a Recent posts/threads page, but I was wondering if it was possible for them to display in a info box on the home page either separate or a part of the info center. There's something like it on a lot of myBB websites and I just thought it was easier to view and keep track of them rather than clicking a link.

I do not believe that information is available on the homepage for a plugin to retrieve, unfortunately. But you can add it as a widget on a custom page if you want to incorporate a custom page on your forum =3
