Im currently rewriting this. the rewrite is going to make all your data incompatible anyways, so if you still want to use it I suggest writing down what needs to be transferred. the key will need to be emptied as well. Im changing variable names to conserve space as well as add in a "reoccurance end days" where you can stop reoccurance after so many days. Im also trying to figure out why it has been duplicating entries, but I havent been able to recreate on my test site

Hi I'm not sure what has happened but we have multiple duplication's for our Pub meet on the calendar
And I can not delete them If I try I get this message below It's just going crazy!!

Hey. I read you're working on this, so I'm just going to say I'd be curious to see what the fix on this is.

I'm having issues with reoccurring events for monthly or even yearly. They're just not working, but I suspect this has a bit to do with the rework, so just wanted to throw my hat in at the idea of this being something that's in the works. Thank you!

Hi,

Maybe I read the instructions wrong. I need a calendar that will allow me to enter our monthly meetings on the 2nd Sat of the month. All this calendar lets me do is repeat the meeting listing monthly on the same date, say the 9th of every month, but not on the 2nd Sat of each month. Hopefully the changes that are currently being written will include this feature.

This plug in has been working just as I wanted up till a couple of days ago when I tried to edit an event I had just created. Now when I try to edit an event The message is that there is no event on the days in question, even though it shows on the info centre. Is this all part of a rewrite that has rotted up what was a very useful plugin. :-(

Just started using this and it's brilliant. My lot are beavering away adding dates they gave up with on the Proboards base version that needed threads, often put them in the wrong date and confused the hell out of the average user.

Just read about the new version and that they are going to have to re-enter the lot - any news on when it will be released please?

Couple of suggestions:

One entry per line in the info centre of imminent events or a clearer delimiter,

My profile is dd/mm/yy but imminent dates are displayed mm/dd

Has this plug in been rewritten yet or is it still at the December 2014 issue. It allows me to enter an event but if I need to edit it for any reason then it tells me the event doesn't exist even though it is in the calendar view.

Im having the same issues as george, some reason, my members or I cannot view the calendar on my forum. Unless I go into to manage the settings in the manage plug in parts. Is there something wrong with why it wont show? Should I delete the plug in? help would be appreciated greatly. thanks worm

Hello c: Im trying to delete some events that are repeating way too many times and it keeps giving me an error code 16 when i try to delete them individually. its not a static event. at least it doesnt show there. helpp D:

An error code 16 indicates that the key is full. My thoughts is that you may have to clear the key and start fresh. However, I'm tagging Todge to see if this is the case or if there's another way to delete some key entries - as my method would clear everything. (NOTE: This is not Todge's plugin, but he's more familiar with keys than I am.)

If you do want to clear everything in the key, go to Admin > Plugins > Manage, click on the Keys tab, find the key with the name the error gave you and there will be a Clear link to the right of it.

That method (clicking Clear) will delete everything in the key (much like it would be from a new install). If you're willing to start from scratch for events, then you can do this. If you'd prefer to see if there's a way to just delete some older entries, I'd suggest you wait for a reply from a coder who's more familiar with how keys work.

As a footnote, it may be prudent to be sure you delete older entries on a regular basis (monthly, for example) so the key doesn't fill up on you again and possibly putting you back into this predicament.
