Pregnancy isn't fun. I know, because I have sisters who were previously pregnant, and I have a sister in-law who is currently pregnant. But if one wants a family, and actually wants to raise children, not as a tax write off, but to actually have children, and raise them to be responsible people, being pregnant and giving birth can bring contentment to know that one is doing something that can be good for the future of mankind.

Pain, being sick during pregnancy, and other such things that typically happen during pregnancy isn't fun, but who said doing that was supposed to be fun anyways?

I loved being pregnant and never had any issues. Perhaps I was just lucky?

It's a pain you sort of 'forget' though...or so they say!  I've had 4 children and having the first one didn't put me off having more and I endured 40+ hours of labour the first time

You know what they say "No pain, no gain!"

...and there's always pain relief. I had an epidural on my second....marvellous! As my midwife said, "they don't give no medals for bravery in the labour ward!"

My babies were large too.  My first was 9lbs 9oz, second was 9lb 6oz, third was 10 lbs 6 1/2 oz and my fourth was 9lbs 8oz

Anyway, no matter how heavy, they bring us love, joy, heartache and pain...............LOL.  What life's all about!
