I am trying to used posting templates (such as enhanced UBBC coding) I found this Plug in that I thought would work I have it installed on the site, I assume correctly but I am having issues saving the templates made through my profile to be able to use them. Am I mistaken the use of this plug in, or am I doing something wrong? I need help with this, like ASAP. LINK TO PLUG IN: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/390

You're wanting to save your templates in your profile? That's a plugin by Shortyverrett94 called.. uhmm.. custom post template, I think?

I can't see what you see or know what you did, simply knowing it didn't work doesn't help me help you unfortunately. =/

I followed the guidelines given in the help section provided when in the plug in library. I followed them to the letter. I guess I will just have to go back to old fashion means of doing templates and tables.
Thanks for the help though

Was I correct that what you're trying to do is make it so you can save templates to your profile and when going to post you can select it from a drop-down box and the code will automatically insert into the text area?

Yes. Before Proboards went to V.5 there was a regular code that allowed Enhanced UBBC coding to take place inside posts to make table templates. Link to a Screenshot example of what I am talking about Here. Well since normal means of coding got scrapped and they decided on this crappy plug in system which is in no means easier but in fact a real pain in the backside, I have looked for a plug-in alternative to the code I once used (which I can now not even locate here in the Coding Section). I thought I found a replacement for that with the plug-in I speak of but its not working I followed instructions to a letter and it still does nothing in the forum. I see that they have a normal header and footer coding section for use but no codes place there work. If this plugin is suppose to do what I think its suppose to do It will support this type coding inside a thread. Example Code Below of what I am looking for the plug in I am trying to get to work to do.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; background-color: #343434; padding:20px; border-top: 10px #af9390 solid; border-bottom: 10px #af9390 solid;][style=background-image: url('400 x 300 IMAGE HERE'); width: 400px; height: 300px;] [/style][style=text-align: center; font-family: georgia; font-size: 42px; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: -3px; color: #edf2ef;]repair your broken wings[/style] [style=background-color: #deddd9; font-family: georgia; font-size: 9px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center; padding: 3px; color: #000;] ( WORDS ) WORDS ( TAGGED ) TAGGED ( STATUS ) IN/COMPLETE [/style][style=text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; line-spacing: 11px; background-color: #edf2ef; text-transform: lowercase; color: #000; height: 300px; overflow: auto;]write anything here, this will scroll[/style][style=background-color: #deddd9; font-family: georgia; font-size: 9px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: center; padding: 3px; color: #000;] any and all notes can go here[/style]

[style=font-size: 10px; font-family: arial narrow; text-transform: uppercase; font-style: italic; letter-spacing: 1px;]table by CALIFORNIA DREAMING of CAUTION 2.0, lyrics by maroon 5[/style]

I think that you're looking for the plugin called Enhanced UBBC or something similar by Bennett 🚀 , not a posting template plugin. Hope this helps.

Or you may be looking for the enhanced tables code? Which isn't needed because you can use the style attribute on tables.

Or you may be looking for the enhanced tables code? Which isn't needed because you can use the style attribute on tables. I am still having issues with the plug ins but maybe in time i'll figure it out. As Shorty correctly points out the old " Enhanced UBBC Tables" code is no longer needed since the standard UBBC supported by the newer V5 is way more enhanced than it was in the previous version and can now handle most of what that code did back in V4 without actually needing a code. The only problem here is that the enhanced table templates you used to use in V4 (such as the one you posted above) now needs to be converted to the V5 way of doing things and the good news is that people who create these templates are now creating them in the V5 style and will convert upon request. That however doesn't help you if you have a bunch of V4 templates. You can get them converted but what about the perhaps hundreds of posts that were created using them, are you going to have to edit those as well and update them to the new system to make them look nice again? For those old posts you can install the word counter plugin and enable the enhanced tables option. Provided those templates were well formed and therefore survived the upgrade to V5 still intact then the enhanced table option will render them without needing conversion.
