I'm wondering if a plugin can be made that lets me decide what info is listed.    I would like to get rid of the Threads and Posts section.    I have it turned off right now to protect a hidden board.    I would like to use the age of the forum plugin but can't with the other info showing there too.   Thank you!

Hi, cheryl911.

No plugin is necessary for this. You can manually remove the homepage's info center data in Themes > Layout Templates > Home.

You'll want to look for these two specific lines and remove them:

<tr><th>Threads and Posts</th></tr>
<tr><td>Total Threads: $[total_threads] &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Total Posts: $[total_posts]</td></tr>

Note that since this is a layout template modification it will need to be done on each theme on your forum. We do have an Export button at the top of the page if all of your themes are the same and you want to do them all on the same page.

I am so scared to do that...if I mess it up can it be fixed?

For each of the layout templates there is a "Reset to Default" button. If you mess up, you can always reset the template. Or if you prefer, instead of removing the lines, you can place comment tags around the lines of code, like this <!-- code --> By commenting the lines out, if you have other customization in the template you won't have to reset to remove your changes.

I removed those two lines, enabled the info center and Threads and Posts was still there including posts made on a hidden board. I then disabled the info center again and reset to default to add the lines back.
I guess this code stuff is way over my head.

If you have more then one theme, then make sure you are editing the correct one.

If you copy your entire Themes > Layout Templates > Home layout template here, I'll make the edits so you can just copy/paste and not have to do it yourself. =3

Thanks for the reply. I decided to just leave it disabled. There are only a few of us and nobody has complained about it being gone.
