This is a recent thing???

Then something has changed, either with the PB software or with another installed plugin.

Could you try temporarily disabling EVERY other plugin and do a quick test, that will at least allow me to rule out a conflict, and will stop me from looking for a problem I have no hope of finding.

and tried in edge, same problem

No issues with editing, post containing a whisper doesn't but thats the one that never got encrypted properly

I don't mind at all! Be my guest! I mean I've narrowed down the behaviour - in that its somehow apparently deciding to put: display:none; indiscriminantly on any content class even without a whisper present

(Also I'm more concerned with why its not hiding a whisper that includes style tag and I'm quite happy to put the code for that post for you as well if you want to try and find that out)

The plugin hides the 'content' cell when you quote while it finds and removes any whispers, it should then remove the 'display: none' CSS allowing you to see the page, but with the whispers removed. This was as an extra level of security, so that anyone quoting a post containing a whisper would not know it was there, regardless of whether it was encrypted. For some reason, on yours and madsciencecave's forums, the code is tripping up after hiding the page, stopping it from 'un-hiding' it, I've just got to try and find out why, as it works flawlessly on my test forum in all browsers, that I have tried.

I'll do some testing, and will hopefully, at least know the reason, during the coming weekend.

Well, the reason your whisper is failing with the style tag is two fold.. Firstly, the plugin encrypts the whispers at the point of posting, so, if you post from the BBCode side of the editor, the UBBC code will be encrypted, not the HTML.. Whispers containing HTML will have to be posted from the Preview side of the editor. You can author the post in the BBCode side, but make sure you switch to the Preview side before you post it.

BUT, in your case it will still fail. The whispers are contained in a <div> tag, and the way the encryption function currently works, as soon as it encounters a closing </div> tag the encryption will stop. In other words, you cannot whisper <div> tags. I will try to find a way around this..

I have still to find the reason why quotes are failing, I will look into that in the next day or so.

Hmmm.. In FF I can quote on your forum without a problem.

Have you tried quoting as a guest to see if the problem is only occurring fot members?
