This plugin will allow you to post whispers to up to 5 members. PluginVersion 0.2.5Direct DownloadYou should see a new button on the posting page, that, when clicked, will open a dialogue box asking you to enter the USERNAMES of those member(s) you would like to whisper to. Once posted, only the members you entered should be able to see the section of post you selected. There are options in the plugin to change the button image and to stylise the whispers themselves using CSS styling. Anyone able to edit a post will be able to see the whispers when doing so, also, the whispers will be viewable when quoting a post using the Mobile App, there's nothing I can do about that.. Also, please bare in mind that no code is secure, so I recommend that you don't use this code to say anything too secretive to others, and I will not be held responsible for any trouble using this plugin may cause to you or to others. With version 0.2.0 and above, whispers are encrypted, hiding them from prying eyes, even on the source code. 0.2.5 Added ability to whisper to all members while leaving guests in the dark. Removed the 5 member restriction.. You can now whisper to as many members as you like. You can also now whisper to guests if you so wish.
0.2.4 Added function trigger Style Tag plugin in whispers. Added member tags, So members will now know when they've received a whisper
0.2.2 Added encryption to Quick Reply. Added encryption for non alpha-numeric whispers.
0.2.0 Added encryption to stop whispers being read in Tapatalk etc.
0.1.0 Complete rewrite.. Now allows Whispers to be seen in visual, surrounds highlighted text and improved wysiwyg handling.
0.0.4 Updated IE8 work-around.
0.0.3 Changed whisper div to include style which will hide it by default.
0.0.2 Fixed pagechange error.

Just added this to my site and testing it now. I noticed that the whisper doesn't show for the user who made it unless they manually add themselves, would it be possible for it to be visible to them by default considering it's not exactly a secret from them? =3 I'm loving this so far and really glad you figured out a way to make it function with the app, I've been very frustrated at the app's blockage of "secretive" plugins like this and am SO happy there is one available now! Creative, creative. =)

'Tis done.. Try version 0.0.5.
Unfortunately this update will not include the whispers you have already created, you'll need to edit those posts for that, sorry.

Since I fail at life and just now got around to testing this plugin out again, I'm posting with some more problems, Todgedon'thatemeI might just be dumb, but I made a whisper to myself, username admin, and I'm not seeing anything. It's in the second post of this thread alcryst.net/thread/438/ferus-training-method-wip?page=1&scrollTo=929and the CSS I added into the plugin is border: 1px solid #2d2821; border-radius: 5px; background-color: #88775b; box-shadow: -2px 2px 5px #000000; font-family: georgia; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify; padding: 20px; align: center; the post is just showing up as blank for me, nothing in it whatsoever. Let me know if I did something wrong or need to change something to fix it up =3

The main admin can see whispers anyway.. Try creating a whisper to another member, or even to 'guest' and see if you can then see it.

Hello. I've got this plugin and no matter what I put in CSS, nothing's showing up. I discovered that when I click the button, "0px" is showing up, even when I change that in the CSS. Any ideas on what I should do to fix it?

Could you please elaborate a little, what do you mean that 0px is showing up when you click the button?
Also, a link to a guest friendly board on your forum would be needed to try and find any issues.

The code appears to be working correctly..
The size of 0px is used to ensure the whisper is not displayed, the plugin will change that in-post if the viewer is one of those listed in the whisper.

Hi Todge! Thanks for an excellent plugin! I downloaded it and everything seems fine as I tested it out, except for one small, nit picky thing. Whenever I add a whisper to a reply, no matter who I add to be able to view it, it always comes out with a [/div] tag right before the actual whisper. So not only can the people who see the whisper see the div tag, but also people who can't view the whisper only see the div tag. Here's the link to a post used with a whisper: portusunhinged.proboards.com/post/3525This is what it looks like from my end, being able to see the whisper: I know I can just delete the extra [/div] tag, but my members won't know that they need to every time they whisper. Can this be fixed? Thanks! Edit: Here is the coding that comes up for the whisper automatically (if this helps): [/div][div title="whisper via, coltongirl" style="font-size: 0px"]Whisper goes here.[/div
