hide "new post" icons?

i might just be blind but i can't find a plug in to remove all the icons from my board... i want to get rid of everything from the "unread thread" icons that show up under each category on the homepage to "sticky thread" icons within boards. there used to be something for this (it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since i've used proboards...) but i can't find it now. is there a plug in for this?

That's more than likely due to the fact that no plugin is necessary to do this in v5. You can simply remove their respective variables from the layout templates.

I would have thought you could get rid of most of the icons through a template mod.

Brian ah sweet! and where/how do i go about that? sorry, i literally am relearning proboards because i haven't been on forums since before the new version. does it require css editing or?

Make a list of what needs to be removed (including whether or not you want the container or table cell it's in to be removed as well) and I can tell you how to remove it.
