Hey Im having a little trouble with the mini profile custom fields, as in I put in the direct link but nothing shows up and I think I followed everything in the image you provided.

Hey Alisha, 

 I absolutely Love this skin for one. has to be one of my all time favorites. Simple and yet beautiful. But... I am having alot of trouble with the Custom Fields to show up on the mini-profile.  I'm still looking things over and possibly seeing if I messed something up somewhere, which is a high possibility. Nothing show's up when you edit your profile and enter into the Custom Fields. no pictures or anything.

<{Txepster}> (boy that username is a handful) It's likely you entered the custom field names incorrectly, double and triple check they match the image I provided in my setup guide, and remember that staff members and regular members have different mini profiles so some fields won't apply to certain accounts.

Alright I see what you mean, I'll fix that up quick and see if that does anything.

In the mean time though, I was taking a look at the coding a bit. and if i'm correct anything that shows up bright red it's correctly working.

Here's what the code mostly looks like. the none colored part I know is fine and working. but what I've colored is how it looks otherwise. it shows up on several places in the coding like that. It there anything missing that is making these codes not work properly?

<{Txepster}> Even though it shows up red, it works perfectly fine. I'm fully aware of this, and It has to do with how I've written the code but doesn't have any effect on whether or not it works(it's actually the reason it works properly).

If you want me to help you any further, I'll need a link to your site and possibly a screenshot of your custom profile fields in the admin panel.

Alright so long as that's how the coding is suppose to be then I believe its all fine then.

I'll get you a link to it soon. right now its in maintenance mode do to revamping the site. When I get a few other things sorted out I'll get you linked to it. And as for screen shot. I've been trying to figure this out with this computer. It's the work computer so I'm not sure of all its functions. When I can get you a screen shot I WILL get it to you.

So I installed your theme onto a tester forum and it looks absolutely lovely. you did a wonderful job on this theme.

the only problem i am having is that none of the custom fields are showing up. i went thru the guide like you have in the first page (changing the default avvie and all that), but the music player, the post count, or even the links for app, plotter and wanted aren't showing up... is there something i need to do to enable these to show? i feel like there is, but i cannot find it.

if you could offer any sort of help/advice on this, i would be eternally grateful. thanks in advance. :]

missus que Did you read the section titled "Custom Profile Fields" and refer to the image linked underneath that header when entering your fields? The most common issue people have is that they didn't enter the names correctly. They have to match exactly.

i had it exactly like that, but it didn't work. i ended up using one of your other skins instead and it worked no problem, and i never changed the custom profile fields... all worked out in the end. :]

I can't tell if it's just my computer or what. This is an absolutely lovely theme! I'm not very code-savvy and I've never created a theme so intricate myself, so it took me a while to set everything up. I never had to add customized content before, so I had to go on a hunt to find where I could. On my screen, the side bar and forums are a little right-aligned, leaving more blank space on the left. Is there any way to get the forum a little more centered? Otherwise, I've had a wonderful experience with this theme after I got the hang of it. Beautiful work!

Hi, I had a question concerning the mini profiles. I have the custom fields set exactly to what you said, however when I put in an image link (ending in .jpg) it will not show up for the 200x160 (I'm not sure about the 200x90, as none of my members have put one in yet, but I'm assuming its the same deal). The 200x300 works fine, as does the music, but how should I go about fixing the other images? I've played around with different sizes, gone back into the custom fields and played around with it, nothing works though. I would appreciate your help. Thanks so much!

EDIT: I went back and checked the custom fields for like the ten thousandth time, and I had written GIF in all capitals. As soon as I changed it, it worked beautifully.

I have a couple of questions, I have not yet defaulted the skin on the following but I am using it as my default in my profile: mysteriousfy.proboards.com

1. I would like to know how to edit the text in the banner, so that part of the text shows the name of the forum and the other part appears where it currently says "a pro boards v5 theme". So instead of having all the forum name in that lovely corsica font, I would like some part of the name in that font and the rest where it says "a pro boards v5 theme".

2. Would it be possible to amend the mini profile and remove the option for music and instead change it to something more RPG-like? I would like an option where the member can specify which side they are on or what they are (in this case it would be something like Human, Seishi, Miko, Fiend, Demigod etc.)

3. The toggle sidebar shows the same information to other members right? so probably even the c-box could be moved there?

4. Also the two larger images that appear in the mini-profile, are those default for everyone (one for the staff and one of rate members) or would it be possible to edit them to only display the character in the mini-profile?

5. Despite ensuring to enter the Custom Fields correctly I am unable to get the Application, Wanted Ad, Plotter and Alias fields to show. Any chance you could look at it for me and tell me what I could have done wrong when inserting the skin?

Im not entirely sure about the mini profiles, but I can help you with your third question. The same information shows up in the toggle sidebar for everyone. I placed two cboxes in mine, and I think it works wonderfully. In order to edit the toggle sidebar, go to layout, and then the option is forum wrapper or something. You'll see tab 1, tab 2, and tab 3. Just put your code in there and you'll be set! ((It might say something slightly different, but you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. Sorry I couldn't tell you exactly, I'm in my pool right now doing this from my phone.)) best of luck!

So... For some reason I have two currently online info bars and I've tried to prowel through all the coding and I can't find out why. Its only on the Dandelion skin that it shows up like that. Even if I redownload it, it still there.

I'm not sure if I screwed up my basic coding and its only affecting Just your skin. I am not sure. Once I can catch you online I'll take my site off maintenance mode briefly so you can see it.
