Sweet Dandelion is my third publicly released theme, inspired by a set of photographs. This theme features a toggle-able sidebar, styled forum name/tagline in banner, custom mini profile, as well as numerous layout template remodels.

the guidelines

• 01. There are many credits included in this theme, however the only one that is visible to the public is the one at the bottom of every page. It is non intrusive, so please be kind and do not remove or modify it, or any of the other credits located within the layout templates.
• 02. This theme is not to be used as a base to create your own theme. Of course, you may edit colors and fonts to better suit your site, but no major editing should be done to the overall design of the theme. It is a pre-made theme, and it is intended to be used as is, with potential for minor edits.
• 03. No reposting of this theme for download is allowed by anyone other than myself on designated sites. If you see this theme for download anywhere other than Adoxography, Proboards Support, or the Proboards Theme Library, please notify me immediately.
• 04. Do not simply download my theme if you see a particular code or remodel you like and want to add it to your site. I often plan on releasing my eligible remodels used in themes separately on Adoxography, and if I have not done so(or you are not a member there), simply send me a PM and ask about using it. I will most likely give you the code if you just ask! Do not steal!
• 05. Lastly, if you need help or have an issue, post in this thread or shoot me a PM. I am happy to implement minor edits, but I will not completely rewrite a large amount of content to suit your needs. Be sure to have a look through the existing thread beforehand to see if your question has been answered. I am a college student and I don't always have the time to offer support. Once again, this is a pre-made theme, so it is highly unlikely I will spend the time to completely redesign something for a single person.

includes

• Custom forum name and tagline in banner
• A hover mini profile complete with a 200x300 avatar, mp3 player, application/plotter/wanted ad links, a 200x160 Image/Gif for stafff, and a 200x90 Image/Gif for other members. This mini profile features two different designs, one for regular members(in character) and one for staff.
• Custom board list, profile, info center, thread list, and conversation list remodels created by myself.

plug-ins

• There are no required plug-ins for this theme, but I have added styling for thread descriptions.
• Presto Box, because it allows you to make and use pretty hover templates on your site. A tutorial, written by @khristian, can be found here.

SETUP GUIDE

When asking for support, provide a forum link, otherwise your request will be ignored.

the basics

• There are two avatars for each member when using this theme. The standard Proboards 150x150 avatar image seen around the forum(quotes,following lists,thread and convo lists), which is edited via the Avatar tab in edit profile, and a larger 200x300 image only seen in the mini profile, which is edited via a custom field on the Personal tab of edit profile. In addition, there is a smaller 200x160/200x90 image located in the mini profile. This can be a regular image or a gif.
  • To edit the default avatar, go to Admin Home > Themes > Theme Settings > Default Theme Avatar and link/upload a new 150x150 image.
  • To edit the default for the 220x300 image, go to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Mini Profile, find line 13, and replace http://placehold.it/200x300 with a link your own image.
• The sidebar can be found by navigating to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper. The box starts on line 57. All content can be edited there, but the styling for the box is found on the CSS Sheet.
• The logo/banner image is edited via the Visual Editor (Admin Home > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Editor) Go to Forum > Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image. The default dimensions are 930x400.
• The forum tagline is located on line 95 of the Forum Wrapper template.

the custom fields
This theme was designed for a roleplay forum, so the custom fields pertain to a roleplay related info. However, certain fields only show up for account types(staff and non staff). Please refer to this image for exact settings.

• Application:

[li]Alias:[/li] The name of the person who plays the character, their alias.

[li]200x300 Image:[/li] A direct link to the image a user wants to be displayed as their large avatar.

[li]200x160 Image/Gif:[/li] Staff Only: A direct link to the image/gif a user wants to be displayed as the smaller image in their profile.

Hei! I really love all your themes. They are so beautiful. But I have a little problem with putting the music in the mini-profiles. I have put the 'Music' in the Custom Profile Field as you showed in the picture. I have also added the direct mp3-link from kiwi6.com. I don't know why it doesn't show and I am going crazy trying to figure it out by myself. Could it be that the problem is in my Firefox plugins/adblock or something else like that?

@jupi, Thanks so much! I love One Tree Hill too, by the way. Your music is working perfectly for me, actually, so it very well may be a plugin that is making you unable to view/listen to the music. I use Chrome and have adblock on it as well though, so I'm not sure if it's your adblock that's causing the issue. Have you tried disabling plugins or using other browsers to see if it works?

Ah, One Tree Hill is one of my fave show... obviously. Okei, I tried to disable the plugins but it didn't do the trick. I really don't know what's wrong with my Firefox

It also didn't work with IE, but when I used Chrome it worked perfectly. So, I guess I need to use Chrome now on. Thank you!

@jupi, I just tested it and it appears the mp3 player doesn't work for me on Firefox either. I'll look into it and try to get it fixed.

Hi, I love your theme! But I have no idea how to do the other images, the 300x200 and 200x160 images. I'm new to the revamped proboards that I don't know what to do

Just for the record, using adblock on ProBoards is against the ToS. It would be best to disable it for ProBoards sites.

I apologize for not being clearer. In the board categories, I have an image, it doesn't look right.Its not balanced. I made the theme default on my board so you can see it.

@mialink, For one, you are using the theme with a sidebar (likely the plugin), and it's not meant to be used with one, as I included one in the theme.

Secondly, you are using an image that is too large. At the very least, it needs to be a smaller height. For boards without a subboard, the image height should be 90px. For a board like the one you have, with sub-boards, the image height should be 70px; Because you are using a sidebar other than the one I provided, your board widths are also shorter than they were originally. I suspect you are using the Board Description Images plugin, which I didn't add support/styling for in this theme, either.

Oh I didn't realize that one was a sidebar you had made. I removed the one I put up. Making the theme more balanced.Do you think I should ad images? I appreciate your help.

Hey there I have a quick question, is it possible to make the skin more of in the center rather than to left? I like the skin and everything but with it to the left and toggling the sidebar away leaving a gap, it sorta bothers the ocd part of me having skins that are placed in the middle. If not, then its okay.
