Did you perhaps link to the wrong version? I'm not seeing group permissions anywhere in the plugin and it says version 0.0.1 still so I'm guessing that's not the most recent download =3

I didn't update the version number, and uploaded the new version over the top of the old one, so the only link should take you to the newer one.. But just in case, I have done it again, this time I have updated the version number, and you can get it here

There's an odd error popping up when I select an option in the second field. I'm in the correct account Group type and the first selection didn't have any problems, just the second. It appears I can still pick selections and change stuff, I just have to X or OK the popup to make it go away, though it popped up three times for a single selection. It did this for all of the other selections (except for the very first one I did) and it does it when I Edit one, when I select one, etc. Besides that odd error, I'm not finding any problems! It shows up only for the right groups, the styling is perfect, the functionality is flawless! Thank you so much! EDIT: Is it possible to add board exclusions? There are several boards that it makes no sense to have the plugin showing up on so I figured I'd ask =3

Does the key get set even with the error?

It might be tied to a certain thing that I didn't do with the first selection? I'm not sure. =/ It did set though because it showed up fine in the mini-profile and the selections were saved and I was able to choose them, it just had the popup

Strange indeed... I have no idea why you should get that error and yet the key is still being written to.
Does this happen every time and with every member?

OK..
If you can find a pattern it may be able to help, as I cannot replicate the error on my test site, and fixing a problem you can't see is frustrating at best.

I logged into my account username Talen, group "Occupations: 2" which is a group that can see this plugin. I went into the board Palaver in category Extraneous and made a new thread. When I selected options that were already there from previous usage, such as "A red snarffleupagus" for my field "Messengers," there was no problem. I was able to select the option from the history without error. I then went to "Edit" and made a new one ("This thing") it gave me the pop-up saying "You do not have permission to write to this key. Error Code: 32" Once I clicked the [x] to that pop-up, the option was indeed saved and I was able to select it from the dropdown menu without problem. I then clicked "Edit" for the same field and the new entry "This thing" was not saved, only the previous option of "A red snarffleupagus" was saved in the list. I then added another option, where "this thing" used to be, called "testing again" and saved. Again the same error pop-up showed up. When going to the drop-down list for that field, only those two options were available, the original "this thing" was gone. I was able to select "testing again" without problem.
Let me know if there is further testing I can do for you =3

Do you get the error everytime you try to Edit a field using that account?

Hmm. Interestingly enough, not every time. I went to create a new thread in the same Palaver board. I clicked on the first field this time, called "Armor," and selected "Edit." I added some gibberish in and it took with no problem. No error popped up. I then clicked edit again for the same field and the second entry, the gibberish, was indeed saved in the history. I added a third entry and this time the error did indeed pop up.

Strange indeed.. As far as I'm aware you either have access to a key or you don't, so if you can write to it once, you should be able to write to it every time.
I have added the key options to the plugin, version 0.0.3 can be downloaded from the same link as before.
Set the key permissions to 'Everyone' in both fields then try again.

Todgewelp, I'm finally back around to working with this plugin. Only took me forever and a day. So far, things I've noticed.... - If I am a staff member and I go in to edit someone's stats, I can't. Only the poster can edit their own stats. This isn't a huge deal if it's impossible or difficult to change, but if it's easy enough to fix, allowing staff to edit them would be fantastic. - I had a premade post with no stats attached to it. I went in to edit it and added stats. Upon saving, no stats showed. When I made a new post with stats attached in the same thread, then they worked. So it seems like you can't add stats by editing if the post did not originally have them. Is there a way to fix that, by chance, or is it too complicated to? I'm worried members may forget to include stats and need to add them after the initial post. - If I make a post with certain stats and then go in to edit that post with new stats, it keeps the old stats instead - If I fill out my stats and make a post, then go to edit that post and go to edit the stat entry that I'd chosen initially (not make or switch entries, but rather edit the one I had initially chosen) it does not take the edit that is all I've found so far (I say grimly because I am so sorry for this laundry list of problems) but I'll keep testing and see what else I find, if anything. Thank you so much for the work you've done on this already and please feel no pressure to address the above list quickly. I will absolutely have patience, assuming you want to continue work on this. If not, no hard feelings. <3
