Moving the Shoutbox

I have a shoutbox on my board; it's down at the bottom.  Is there a way to move it higher up on the board, for instance above the legend but below the list of threads/boards?

Hey mamabootses,

This would have been a question better suited for the Templates board instead of the Themes board since templates deal with the actual structure of the themes themselves - in the future you'll want to post for help over there for this sort of stuff, and over here only if you need help designing/installing/etc a theme.

To get the Shoutbox above the legend you'll need to use a code or plugin instead of editing the HTML, though. I threw together a quick plugin for you so it's a bit easier. Just download this and then import it into the Plugins section of your admin panel (Admin > Plugins > Manage > Import button).

Move Shoutbox Above Legend or Info Center.pbp (955 B)

Once installed, you'll be brought to the Settings page where you can choose whether to have the plugin move the shoutbox between the legend and info center, or on top of the legend and below the threads/boards like you initially asked.
