Read User PM

I had this great idea and would like to see if anyone is skilled enough to code this.

 I would like a plugin that allows certain staff members to read users private messages. In case there is abuse the admins don't know about they can look at it. This power would be added to a group and only admins/moderators could do this. This would be another way to make sure users are behaving.

They are called 'Private' messages, meaning it is only visible to the recipients.
If a post is considered abuse, the user can just simply report it.

This is not possible as ProBoards doesn't make that information accessible. The purpose of private messages is that they are private...

My recommendation to you is to have users screenshot PMs if they are blatantly wrong and send them to you for you to contact the perpetrator. There is also an option to disable members from starting PM messages and a plugin to remove the functionality altogether. The plugin doesn't work for mobile users though.

Edit: now that I think about it, there may be a way to "copy" certain people on every PM. However, I don't know what ProBoards would say about that....or really how to go about doing it...

There is no way this kind of a plugin could, would or SHOULD ever be made.

if a user wants to share a PM with a staff member, they can voluntarily forward that PM to the staff members.
