Hi there

Forgive me if this is a silly question as I'm new here and not particularly technical but does the PBMeta Data plugin work and once the data has been added how do I know if it has been successful or not?

Will the page have to be crawled again before its updated in search engines details?

Hi, burndenpaddock.

You can right-click the page and view the source then search for the description text you entered if you want to see if it worked (assuming it doesn't add it to the page using Javascript). If you can't find it in the source of the page you can post the link to the forum and I can check with my browser's dev tools to see if it's in the source of the page.

As crawlers are the only way that search engines check to see if a page has been updated you are correct in your assumption about how it updates.
