banner i just can do it lol

hi all im absolutely new to all this fourm building stuff im having trouble with my banner its not showing properly all im gettingis a small slither of what it should look like this is the link to fourm teambenedictracing.boards.net/ and this is what it should look like the pic below please help me im pretty fine with everything else but everything i have tried just dont want to work iv tried some ways on here but i dont know if im doing it wrong or what thanks for the help

Go to Admin Home > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Editor tab. Go down to Header(Top), Forum Banner, Banner Image. There you can set the banner height (your image is 480px high) and position and repeat/no repeat.

nope its still not showing the whole image even if i could just get the writing to show up would be great .

Did you change the height in the visual editor and Save Changes? When I look at your forum I see the banner height set at 100 px.

yes i changed it to the 480 you said im so confused lol

ok i seem to have made it biger but now for the life of me i cant get it smaller now lol

You have set some padding to 480px. Remove what you changed to make the banner larger, then make sure you make the change to banner height where I indicated in the previous post. Visual Editor, NOT the Style Sheet.

right i dont know if you can see it now but i have got the size nearly there how can i get it to fit edge to edge please.

i belive im nearly there i just need to get it edge to edge now

You can set the width of the forum to match the width of the banner if you want, 960px instead of 90%. If you don't want the white "Benedict Racing" text you can go to the theme setting and set the Forum Title to "Do Not Display a Title".

you are an  absolute legend one last thing how do i remove the white writing lol i put it there now dont remember how to remove it
