News Fader Scroller

How in the world do I stop the news fader from scrolling? There is no "none" setting for scroller. And I also use the V4 New Fader plugin which also does not have a "none" for the scroller.

The v4 plug in flashes at a speed you can set. It does not scroll. You need to disable the regular newsfeed for v4 to work.

admin/settings/ newsfeed/ disable

Yes, blueshead. I've had the plugin since V5 conversion and am well aware of how to set it and how it functions. Excuse me for using the wrong wording. And I know you can set the speed otherwise I would not be asking for it to stop! My OP does state there is no "none" setting! So, I'd like it not to "flash" because when using just one line in the news fader, it makes the whole board jump when trying to "flash".

I figured out a way to pretty much stop v4.. Go to admin/ plug ins. /build

select v4 news fader../user interface/ settings

in the selection for speeds add one..call it stop and set it to 1000000



Now you can select "stop" from your regular v4 news feed plug in.

Wow! Thank you so much, blueshead! I never thought to go in there cuz not many of my plugins offer the build option! This is great!

Hopefully, it'll stop the jumping!
