I have a div inside a table cell and I cant get it to inherit the height of the cell its in. The cell doesnt have an exact height, so i how do i get the div to be as high as it can inside the cell? Ive tried height=100% and height="inherit" but it still stays the same height. The answer to this is probably really easy but I cant figure it out. I hate divs and i hate HTML as well And I hope this is the right board to post this in. The support forum has changed a fair bit since i last used it.

Yeh, and it didnt work EDIT: I think ive figured out the problem. The out cell on the div need to have a height for the div to have a height of 100%. So now i just need the height of the outer cell to be the height of the row its in, which is always different. EDIT: Ive sorted it. If i set the table height to 100% then it sorts the div out. Not got any heights set above the table but its working so im happy Thanks for helping
