Okay so I thought a template was when you had an image and text in a fancy box that you could put on the site to make posts look nicer. Where are they??? My site hasn't been updated to this 5.0 stuff so all the posts that were on the site are totally messed up.
Help??

Layout Templates can be found in your admin panel > Themes > Layout Templates. They are the HTML structures of all of the pages and sections on your forum (for example, there is a "Home" layout template, a "Mini profile" layout template, and a "Posting Page" layout template).
These layout templates actually let you change the structure and look of your entire forum with HTML and CSS, as long as you have the right variables placed within the template.
As far as posts go, I don't think there is an easy way to convert the V4 "post" templates into V5. You'll just have to start using the new system, in which you can simply use a UBBC/HTML mix by using [div][/div] and any styles within that.

yeah I wasn't looking to use the old templates, I was just wanting little ones that work with the new forum so that's I don't have plain posts. I'm not looking for a template to change the layout of the entire site, just like the old-school code that would go into the reply box and then you add what you want to say in it and make a post. Is that even possible anymore???

Yes it is. Hopefully you have Eton's Bones's UBBC Buttons Plugin : www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/558Then each member goes to a thread and puts in what they want from those buttons, so font type, font size etc, highlight and copy it. It should look something like this when it's done. [font size="2"][font color="47008F"][b][/b][/font][/font]
Then each member has to go to their own profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Posting Default and enable BBCode. A box will appear where you put that code copy in. Click save account settings and your done.

Couple of questions - Do you have a testing forum ? What are you trying to achieve on your Board as I take it your the root admin on there ?
What I posted was an example of what might be an individual peeps BBCode, it's not any fancy template code.
