Its not optimal but I use a group and a code to adjust the total of members shown in the infocenter which is the closest you'll get to what you want I'm afraid

This plugin will remove members from your members list that haven't logged in for a year ( I'm not sure where I got a year from but I thought I'd read it here ) If a few people show an interest in this then I'll expand it and give it options. Pebble, this is a very interesting plugin--consider this my highly expressed interest. xD I'm assuming those time spans mean how long that person has been inactive for in order for the plugin to consider them inactive and hide them? The tooltip for it in the plugin settings makes it sound like that's how long the plugin will hide members for, rather than that's how long they must be inactive before they are hidden. I don't have any easy way to test this, but I'm positive I have a few accounts on my forum that haven't posted in at least thirty days so I went ahead and set the plugin for 30 days to see if my forum total changed and it didn't. Is it compatible with customized layout templates? Does it just look for the variable and target it no matter how much the layout has been changed, or do I need to add something to my coding to let it target more effectively? Alcryst.net if you need the link =)

Hi ₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪, This plugin at the moment only hides inactive members from the members list. It doesn't (yet) do anything with the actual member total. That, I think will require a key, probably a super user key, which is why I haven't done that yet. As it would harvest info rather than be user initiated, I'm not even sure if that would be within the TOS for plugins. It seems a bit over the top anyway to use a super user key for just the total member number..... I'll have a think about it. EDIT: Yes, the values are for the amount of time since a user last logged in. I'll change the tool tip next time I do an update. It was a bit of a rush job as I wasn't sure if people would be interested in this.

Pebble I downloaded this and tried it on my board. I have many members that have not logged in for over a year but the plugin is not showing them as inactive. It does show the inactive members button, but when you click on button no data is there and all the members are still in the normal member list. I use a lot of plugins could this be the cause.

I went to the forum in your signature.... as you didn't provide a URL and I don't see it enabled on that forum. I then went to register in case you had it for members only but there is a strange sign up form there, instead of showing the global login/registration page, so I didn't bother.

Forums.net forum, it has a single sign on instead of the ProBoards free service. Same ProBoards though.

Thanks for that. I've never seen that login before. Maybe the members page is different and that is why this plugin is not working. I have no idea how a forums.net forum is set up.
I just registered but I'm still not seeing the plugin enabled. Have you got it set for staff only?

Pebble yes I have forums.net and the plugin is set for staff only. Is it because of the forum net that it doesn't work properly. All forums.net have single log in & not global.
