This is the original code.
<style type="text/css">
.curlycontainer{ border: 1px solid #b8b8b8; margin-bottom: 1em; width: 300px; }
.curlycontainer .innerdiv{ background: transparent url(media/brcorner.gif) bottom right no-repeat; position: relative; left: 2px; top: 2px; padding: 1px 4px 15px 5px; } </style> The original code has been changed. That is why it looks different. I placed it on the home-template page. If you look at www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/curly-corner-container/, you'll see this curly container is similar to the one on that other website.

Good morning, @womenonly.
Well, first, the code you wanted help with was for a container. Not for a "border around the forum". Two completely different things.
This is much more complicated. I've done themes with top, center and bottom images in them, but nothing like this.
In the themes I'v described, you place code in two areas ~ both the forum wrapper and the Style Sheet. It's not something you would place in the Global Header.
But you're not working with an image. Your working with a hex color to create a border by inserting measurements.
Brian or David Clark will be better able to assist.
You'll need a left corner image which I can do later in the day if they can get you sorted out.
Good luck!
LUV: Thank you.

The width on that is only 300px, @womenonly. That's container size ~ not forum size. The image they show is of a container.
You want an image around the forum.
I'm trying to work on this when I get a chance.
As a member of my board, if you want, you can tell me when you'll be around, and I can make that theme viewable for you. Right now, it's only viewable to me.
Since no one has responded, I thought I'd give it a go for you.
I'm having trouble getting the position just right, but I'm trying.
David Clark, any assistance?

This thread is a bit all over the place and I'm having trouble determining what we're currently working on/where we are with it. Maybe you or @womenonly might be able to break it down for me?

Hi, David Clark. Thanks for responding.
@womenonly wants a curly corner on the bottom left and right of her forum. She found a code and mistakenly thought it would do that. However, it's a container code (which Brian was helping with). But she didn't understand she had to host a curly corner image for the CSS to work. And she didn't understand it wasn't a border around the forum; it was a container code only 300px wide.
But it's now established, she doesn't want a container curly corner, She wants curly corners at the bottom of the border she has on her forum in the OP.
I think that about sums it up.

Ah, I see. I'm not quite sure how that might be accomplished, unless the background was set to be an image of the page curl and it was fixed to the bottom of the screen, but even in that case it would appear behind the forum content, which might be weird considering it's supposed to be a page curl.
@womenonly, if you have an example of a website where this effect is successfully implemented I might have better advice for you but the original code you had that gave you this idea won't work to achieve what you're looking for (as you know).

Ah, then I thank you, David Clark, as I was trying to do this with the curly corner image I created for her, but that's the problem I'm having. It appears behind the content. That stops me from wasting more time on it.

I just wanted to thank everybody for all of their help. :)LUV, your help made it possible for me to create this thank you post. It takes both the css and the html to make the curly container work.

Yes, I got it to work in a container, but not in the border of the forum.
This is as close as I could come without major issues arising. One being how to hide the border of the forum in the left corner where the curl is.

LUV: This morning I did a little experimenting. Adjusting the curly corner's size and including height and width makes for a nice dynamic curly corner container. Thank you for helping. How did you get the corner to be the right size? How did you hide the curly corner?

I took the size for the curly corner container from your link and created my own ~ but to their size specification, Womenonly.
Is that all you needed? The container?

On June 4th, I posted this: I have tried the css and the html. I am unable to get the curly container to work. I have tried both codes. I have tried templates and the header. Please refer to the rest of that post and this thread for more information.
Once again, thank you for your valuable time and help.

Hi, David Clark. Hope you're having a good day.
Womenonly's link is in the O/P.
If you want to check out my theme called "Don't Know Yet". I have the corner image on there and am trying to place it on the right hand corner.
Perhaps that might give you an idea how to complete this. This is my fourth attempt at doing it, having tried several different ways.
The image code is in the Forum Wrapper. Feel free to play around with it. No one can see that theme.
