Best way to explain what I'm asking is to give an example of what happens on my forum.
An active thread creates a new page for the latest post and you decide to use the reply function on a new page instead of use the quick reply. You want to refer to earlier posts, but the only post listed beneath the text box is the one shown on the new page.
Is there a plugin, or a script code that can ignore the page restriction and let posts from earlier pages bleed over for when you want to make a reply, or is it not currently possible to do so?

A plugin wouldnt be able to fetch earlier posts from the server. This would be better suited to be a feature request.
However, if your intent is to be able to quote from multiple posts on earlier pages, all you have to do is select each post using the gear menu in the top corner. then when you go to quote, it will grab all selected posts and insert them in automatically.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll post a copy of this in that board, and request to delete this thread if necessary.
And no, I wasn't referring to actually quoting the posts, only referring to them by reading the posts listed below the text box.
