animated banner Help needed :)

Hi All, I have created an animated banner using 'Bannerflow'. but I don't know how to get it onto my forum. when I enter the link provided into the box , it just disappears as soon as I hit 'Enter'.

I web chatted with support ,who asked if we had Javascript. but not sure how to go about this.
has anyone got any advice as to the easiest way to get the banner to work??

Please link to where you got this banner from. I do not know what box it is disappearing from when you click Enter. Could you clarify the box? A post? Are you saying when you post the link it doesn't show up?

javascript is allowed only in plugins. Posts have BBCode, a mix of html and css. If you are posting a javascript code in a thread on a proboards site, it will not work. Where is it you are adding this?

when I enter the link into the 'banner image' box, thats when i lose it. works ok with the .GIF version of the banner

Hi tums,
You can only add jpeg, png and gif file extensions in the banner image field, I'm quite certain.  I'm not sure what kind of code they give you but you probably can add that via your wrapper template or global headers if you prefer.  There would need to be some changes made to where your banner normally would be. Maybe give it a go in your global header just to see if the code works there.

I'm not sure if your post belongs in plugins board unless you were hoping someone could make a plug in for you to do this?
