just registered on your forum. everything works correctly using google chrome. U will have to get different information from the user as cause to his error

Our new member Melz did as you suggested...she tried Chrome and Firefox

I'm an Global Mod there, so I can do it myself by going into their profile
(I handle any Avatar issues)
I too cannot make it open....I usually use FF but on Melz, I too switched over

If it was just one member, I would say yes it's them
But now it's 3 in the last 2 weeks, so not sure

And we've never had a problem with it until now


Would it do any good to uninstall/reinstall the plugin?
Or would that make it worse, I wonder

I just switched to Chrome, no go on change to mini background profile on new member melz

No window opens up for her

ETA: BTW, the screen shot I just took of mine earlier, was with FF

I can change out older members avatars via mini background image,  but not the new ones

I do not believe uninstalling the plugin would help you at all. 
The problem may be plugin related but more likely to multiple plugins conflicting. Can you try temporarily disabling all of your plugins in the manage section except for the mpbgtc and see if the popup now works for the indicated user

Okay, I'll pass that on to the tech guy

I can do it, but I'd rather him since that's his area of expertise 



I'll get back to you tomorrow some time, and let you know if we get it to working again

Do you happen to have permissions set on the plugin to only work for certain groups?

Admin sets up 3 custom profile fields:

They must be named EXACTLY the same as in the picture, and of type "anything", "alphanumeric", and "alphanumeric".  This will get around having to use a super key.

Is it possible to get this to show on the search page pls? link this is the search page after if clicked 'search' so i dont know if you as a visitor will see it, but it just shows code and no images.

Wormopolis hi we installed your plugin yesterday and it's great and has been well recieved. Just wondering though is there any way to change the text colour of date registered? Alot of users are using dark images and the text is blending in. Any help is appreciated, thanks

i dont think wormys been around for a while, anyone any ideas how i can temp fix this ? maybe place place a blank white tile over the code ? or disable the mp slide out JUst on the search results.

Would really like someones help here because i dont search much and when i do it looks a bit bad.

Recently my members are unable to change the background image in their mini profiles. The dialog box doesn't show up. Changing the url in the field does not work either.

I did it all like it said to but unfortunately it is not allowing me to change my background image - now I am using a template so it autofills with a moon background - I am wondering if maybe that is why it is doing that? If anyone has any idea please let me know

disable every plugin then enable one by one to see if there is conflict and if that does not work move the plugin to the top of the list

Okay. I should elaborate on this since I'm still having problems...

The mini profile customizations will show up on posts if you have the fields filled out properly. However, the mini profile fields--when editing a profile--don't work. The windows wont come up when you click on the text fields and the preview isn't there. Although, it'll work after you refresh the page.

I tried disabling all of the other plugins I have and it still does this.

I've had this plugin installed for a long time and I like it a lot, but now, it has started to qurrel. The colours are fine, but the insert background image function seems to be disabled when I want to use it on new mini profiles. The old ones are still intact. I re-installed the plugin and deleted the old one, but nothing changed. Can somebody please have a look at it on www.heretix.boards.net? Thanks in advance!
