Admin sets up 3 custom profile fields:

They must be named EXACTLY the same as in the picture, and of type "anything", "alphanumeric", and "alphanumeric".  This will get around having to use a super key.

In the edit profile, members will now see:


click the background field will bring up a dialog where they can enter an image URL and/or a background color.  hitting save will live update the fake MP to the right.  display name color and text color will bring up color selectors as well, and also update the fake MP.
Save profile and they are done.

There is also an option to disallow certain members from using the MPBG&TC system.

This is nice wormopolis, is it a plug we need to install ( I don't see a link to one) or just build the text boxes as said here?
I was trying to use a carbonfiber mini profile background but couldn't change some of the text to a more visible color other. This will get it done!

I just tried it and answered my own question, I don't see this in the library yet either. Thoroughly looking forward to this one.

I didnt put the link in yet. I was about to then realized I forgot to make it do something sort of important that as an admin testing I overlook a lot. so I should be fixing that tonight and getting a link.

Very nice, so smooth and easy to use, complete with color table with all my saved colors and a preview too. Now if it would show up in the forum!, Is this compatible with your mini-mini plug in?

disable mini-mini and see if it is working for you. if you have a template mod it might be hanging up. if it works that way, then run it before mini-mini and it should still work

I turned Mini-Mini off with no change.

I installed this and the changes show up in my profile but it doesn't show up on the board. I also disabled the mini-mini profiles with no change.

it works with the the dropbox's version of the plugin Don't know why? I did try to install from the library and has the problem as posters have stated. It also works with mini-profile but decided to uninstall for different reason. I did try to move up above mini-profile no help

well this is discouraging.

you all created the custom profile fields like it says in the instructions right? is it showing the custom profile fields in the MP still?

does anyone maybe want to give me a URL to a page I can look at?

looks like it is being ran twice for some reason. do you have more then one version of the plugin?
