I've got 2 questions:

1. I set it so only Staff can edit, because I have a board "shop". Will it still work?
2. Can we post URLS for the mini profile background?

1) yes. If the custom field is set to staff edit only, then only staff will see the fields in the first place. However when a staff member edits things, they will see their own MP data in the example. Because proboards data is based on member viewing. It will still result in the member getting the change.

2) yes. When you click the box for background, you get a dialog where you can choose a color and/or a image background

I tried to download from the library and it says it can't find it or something.

Support threads say you have to be logged into your proboards account to download or install..

Ummm I was and still am and still get this

Try doing an install instead of a download. see if it loads it then. There have been a lof of threads in support with the same problem though, so you might have to peruse those threads to see what the devs are saying that I dont know.

The install isn't even an option. Sounds like a pb problem then.

Finally was able to download. Wormo, this is very very nice..... I like how you can not use certain fields if you don't want to. This is excellent.

ive installed this and it works for admin and mods but not staff, its set on members and staff, members can see the boxes to change the colours but nothing works for them

It doesnt save the values or it just doesnt do anything with the values in their MP displays? are the custom profile fields all set to members and staff? did you put any other restrictions in the plugin setup like themes or groups?

and do any of your members have models of Navy Ships?

Installed it, but the image is off-center and doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the MP BG:

Well we know you have the names matching because you are showing the editor box for staff members.   go back to your manage plugins screen.  click the edit button after the version number.  what shows up in that dialog.?

The background image is defaulted to top-left. there currently isnt any way to adjust the background image position, because I dont know where I could keep it yet.   your current option, is to make a duplicate of the image you want, and move the part you want to show up towards the top left of picture border.  then rehost the new image.

Hi Bud I get another box open up that says permissions, its set to everyone to view and the plugin is applied to all themes. I turned one of the mods back to a member and he couldn't change anything, then back to mod and it worked fine
