Would I be able to see it as a Guest?
The only block I have is for pop-ups. If there is any kind of ad-blocker, it would be without my knowledge. It is certainly not among my add-ons or extensions.

You should see the cog as a guest, yes.

I don't see anything at all in the bottom-right corner where it and the other cogs would be. Is this a problem?

That one actually doesn't show unless you're logged into an account -- the in-post cog that expands a dropdown when clicking should be visible to you while logged out though.

I'm sorry, but perhaps I am misunderstanding. The issue I am having is with the site specific mini-tab thing that is in the bottom-right on my site. Are we referring to the same thing? I don't see anything at all like there here, in Support, as a Guest user if it is the same thing.

Ah, I see. In the original post it was mentioned that you were missing the "cog for moderating boards" - Board: solariaweyr.proboards.com/user/11My co-admin has recently told me that the cog image you click on to get moderating options for topics and so forth has disappeared for her. She can still access the admin panel and use that, but the cog for moderating boards is gone.Which led me to believe that we were referring to this: But it seems you're actually referring to this: Is that right?

Yes and no. Yes, that location, no not that cog (that one is there and works ^^). There is a space next to it that normally has a star in it with the special administrator menu (like a quick link sort of thing). That is my strange complication. The space for it is open, but the star cog is not there.

The only four buttons that every show there are quote, edit, like, and the cog. If you see any more icons, then you are using a plugin.

Yes, it is a plug-in. From what I know from my fellow Admin, she is having no problem with the plug-in. It appears to only affect me. No one has touched or otherwise changed the coding of the plug-in.

I see. When logged in as you and on my copy of the latest version of Firefox, I see the staff menu plugin star, so I'm afraid I don't have any additional clues as to why it wouldn't be working. The rest of that menu shows for you, though?

So I've moved this over to the Plugin support area, and I'm tagging Brian as he wrote the plugin!

Kalimalian, can you update the plugin to the latest version? It changes how the button is added to the PBN bar.
