I have had problems with codes on the iOS version of Safari, and I THINK I tracked it down to DOM storage, which, unfortunately, this plugin uses too.

I do not have an iPad so there's no way I can look for problems either. I know you can get FF for the iPad, is there any way your member could try it using that?

Also ensure they are not using private mode, it seems iOS Safari ignores DOM Storage if using that.

It glitched again. The creature popped up and went away and the attack button showed up after the second post when i set it for 4 posts in.


Hmmm..Maybe we should nix the part to choose when it comes in? And they can just hit attack whenever they feel they want the battle to start? I could always use the first pop up to give the creatures stats. ^^

I know why too.. I've just got to find a better way of keeping track of the replies.

In the mean time, you could always set it to appear 1 reply in and have a 25% chance of the creature appearing.. That would mean they'd be a good chance the creature would appear within the first 4 posts, but is obviously not guaranteed.

I have no idea... It works for me on my test forum, but then it did before I changed it too..

Update the plugin and cross your fingers, then let me know if it's behaving itself.

It looks like it works. Ill test it once more to be sure.

Just a question. Does it count the very first post or the first reply? And for that post percentage? If you set it for anything other than 100% the creature could come in at any time after say 3 posts?

If you could enable it for everyone that would be awesome!

And yes, anything less than 100% means that there is a chance that the creature will not appear in the first reply after the set amount, the lower the percentage, the less chance of the creature appearing.

And yes, I'll add the option for all members to open creature threads.

Sorry, I've been having problems with DropBox not uploading files...

Version 0.1.8 is available that includes an option for regular members to start creature threads. It also stops the 'Attack' button from being displayed to guests.
