How do you install updates for plugins?

Go to the plugin library and install the latest version on your forum. If it requires a key, it will ask you to update the key, so select that option from the drop down, toggle the radio button, and move on your way. When it asks about importing settings, do it. If there isn't a key, that beginning part will be skipped and it'll just ask you about importing settings. Once you've done that, go to your Manage Plugins section and delete or disable the old version of the plugin otherwise the two versions will conflict, though note that if it does require a key then it replaced the old plugin and there will only be the one version. If you do delete the older plugin, choose delete plugin rather than the one where it deletes data.

ALWAYS import the key data if it asks. otherwise it will erase any existing keys being used for storage. unless you want a fresh start for some reason.
