This will allow you to group custom profile fields into sections, and create a tabbed field below the signature box.  each custom profile field you set into a group will appear under that groups tab, and all remaining custom profile fields will fall under tab "Other".

you can also add an auto scroll to groups that have a lot of fields in them but you still dont want to stretch the page.

the plugin settings allow for 10 custom profile fields for each group, and if you have more, just create another group with the same name and it will merge them together.  custom profile fields must have the same name as how they are setup in the admin panel.

not sure if you saw my cbox posts so putting 'em here too--

Functionality is working perfectly! It's merging the identical-named-groups together, the tabs switch perfectly, all working!

two feature requests. 1) CSS customization. I'd like to be able to adjust the look of the tab names along with the box they're in, if possible. 2) a header input. So like.. at the top of the tab, the ability to insert a text header. For me it'd be a description of what the tab contains and what to do with it.

Ignore me if not doable ^^

And a question; if a tab contains nothing that the current user can view, such as all staff-only custom profiles and the user is a regular member, will that tab show to them?

EDIT: Other feature request is the ability to rename the 'other' tab, which is the one where the excess, non-sorted custom profile fields go by default. =)

This is exactly what I need, but I'm having a hard time using it. Whenever I load data into the custom fields, nothing shows up.

Can you clarify what load data means? What error are you experiencing in particular? The more detail you give, the better. Also a site link =)

It's probably to small to see but, Here I have Role Playing listed as the group name, and in custom field One.


In this image Roleplaying is selected, but not of the other custom fields are showing. The only thing showing is other, is this plugin supposed to be placed before or after another specific plugin?

what browser? I just created an account on your forum and all of the custom profile fields are under Role Playing. the plugin will sort the ones it finds into the group tab, and the rest get pushed into Other.

Hi there - lovely plug-in, I think it's perfect for what I need it to do. Problem is, I can't figure out how to get it to work. 

Here are the custom profile field groups I created-

Now the problem I'm having is that, when I go look at the edit profile page, the custom fields will be listed outside of the tabs they're supposed to be inside?

But when I click on one of the tabs, the entire thing closes, and I am unable to view the custom fields which were previously listed below the tabs no matter what I click on?

are they all listed under "other"?

I did notice you have TWO fields named the same, so the code might be getting hung up on that. you might consider giving that second one a slightly different name
