Changing the "new posts" icons

So this is the first skin we've done on v5, the other came over nicely just with a few tweaks. But we'd like to change the images where the Hogwarts crest is.

For new posts and I think I figured it out once but I cannot remember how I did it. Both me and my staff member already changed the image in the "settings" for the skin in the "themes" but it still won't change the image.

Is there another way without necessarily having to go into the "css" or more advanced coding?

Hey True Essence,

This is changed in the image area of the theme settings like you mentioned in your first post, so I'd advise trying there again.

Go to Admin > Themes > Theme Manager and mouse over your theme. Click on the "Images" button and scroll down until you see the Hogwarts crest images under "Board: New Posts" and "Board: No New Posts". Replace those images to change them on the homepage's board list.

Thanks David Clark but I've done that and it's still not working. When I refreshed I saw them briefly but then it went back to the Hogwarts crest. Is there somewhere I need to go if the Hogwarts crest image is overriding the new image?

I see a plug-in on your site for on/off icons for different boards which has that hogwarts crest in it. If you aren't going to use different icons for different boards, disable or delete that plug-in or if you want to have different icons for different boards, use the plug-in to add your images.

I knew it had to be that but I was unsure and wanted to make sure first. It's been a while since I even messed with a skin, I'm not very good at it. Thanks Tumbleweed

If I disable that plugin and use the option in the themes only, will that change the images for just that particular theme while the Hogwarts crest is on the other theme (So in case people want to keep the previous theme?) so the phoenix one won't clash with the greyness of the theme?

Figured that out for myself, I just did it to see since the previous theme is still our default. It didn't change it. Thanks for the help!
