Description

Adds a section to the Edit Profile > Avatar page to allow users to specify which avatar they'd like to use on the theme they're currently using. Up to 10 different themes can have their own avatars.

Requires 1 Super User Key.


Features

- Link different avatars on up to 10 different themes on a forum
- Avatar manager to allow easy removal of older avatars and easy switching between themes


How to Use

Visit your profile and select Edit Profile. In the Avatar tab there will be a new section at the end called Theme Avatar. You can click on the Link Avatar link to specify a different URL for your avatar to point to on your current theme.

Once you've specified at least one theme-specific avatar you'll see the Manage Avatar link in the same section of your avatar settings. Clicking on this will open a window that allows you to delete the avatars you've linked to every theme on the forum or automatically switch to the theme they're currently linked to. Click on an avatar to mark/unmark it for deletion, then click on the Save Changes button to confirm removal.

Brian, so is this supposed to change the avatar in the mini profile in the different themes?

Hmmm... Brian, I must be doing something wrong as it is not changing the mini profile avatar at all??

Sorry about that Brian,   Now it will take me to the theme... it just doesn't change the avatar.

Your avatar won't change if you're using the one from the avatar maker. You'd need to use the Uploaded/Linked option or the No Avatar option to make theme-specific avatars show.

I believe I coded it this way because you can overlay the one from the avatar maker over a standard avatar.

Another question Brian, is there a way of putting this in like one of the "peekaboo" boxes??? I'm probably biting off more than I can chew... LOL!!!

I designed it in a way that's reliant on data only available on the Edit Profile pages, so it wouldn't be possible to do that at this time.

Hello Brian

Not sure if this is a bug, but allow me to explain please. Just inserted a avatar per plugin instructions, and that avatar shows just fine. The problem is, with that theme as default and when I log off, that avatar returns to the default avatar I use.
