request plugin for attention of a specific member

just wondered if someone could do a plugin which enables a members thread to be direct to a specific member or mod or admin?

Can you clarify what it means by "direct" to them? Do you mean seen only by them, like the Whisper plugin but for the entire thread?

it means if someone starts a thread, could there be like a pull down menu with a list of members to select from, a bit like quote. hope this helps.

That sounds like the purpose of the Insert User Link button.



It searches the forum for whichever user you specify and tags them in the post, also adding a notification to their profile page.
