Is it possible to have a link open in a Pop-up Window that's a specific size?

Okay well right now I'm using this [html] to make it work (click to watch video image/link) but I know the code doesn't work on mobile, etc because it's a plugin . So I was hoping for another option.

I want to wrap the link to open around the image and have it open in a pop-up.

You could use BBCode to add the same link around the image like you normally would without the current plugin, then have a plugin or code look for every link on the forum with a similar video URL and add a click event to them to open them in the same way. That way the post looks normal on mobile while functioning how you want it to on desktop.

Will that make me limited to posting those links from 1 specific site? or can I use a "class name" type thing? lol sorry I'm a noob when it comes to such things.

You'd be limited to just that site, unfortunately. It'd be difficult to come up with an all-purpose solution for that one.

Would it be possible then to add the same code a few times but each one looking for they're own specific site?

Yes and no.

The deal with that particular site is that it already comes with its own page that has the video and nothing more on it.

It's what the code would be reliant on, but not every video site has that feature.

Nice, cuz it just so happens every video I want to do this with has their own pages as I am only using the "embed" links.

Yes, that does look good. I just want to have the option to basically have the link's "target" open as a pop-up and not have to use the [html] code to do it
