Is there a way to allow guests to like posts similar to how members can?

I imagine a plugin could increment the "and # more" count on the post, but the hard part comes from trying to make the forum remember if a certain guest liked a post. A plugin key can only hold so much data, so chances are that even if you log their IPs in the plugin key you'll run out of space eventually and will only be able to have a finite number of guest likes on a post. You also run into the same thing with all the requests to allow guest voting in polls. We don't allow guest voting because there's no 100% accurate way to check to see if an individual voted for something since IPs are specific to the connection and can change under several circumstances. In addition, logging the IPs of guests in a plugin key means they'll all be visible in the page's source to anyone who visits the forum. I could see that upsetting people.
