Hello all,
Was wondering if there is a way users of my forum can post image(s) with out it showing up like this;
Attachments:
Images01.bmp (469.8 KB)
Images00.bmp (469.8 KB)
Is there a way instead of a link being posted that you then have to click to see the image -.- ... the actual image is show in post instead.
Hope someone can understand what I mean =/

You'll need to get your members to host the images on an external site, such as Imgur. Then when they are on the posting page, they can click the image button and paste the URL of the image. If you're using the quick reply box and you want to post an image, you have to use BBCode, like so: [img src="IMAGE URL"] Using the image button does the same thing, it just creates that bit of code for you.

This is really lame way to share images in my opinion.. Having to go to another site to upload them then have to post links on them in thread now when a post has 100's of links of images you want to look at that's a lot of tabs and time wasting =/

You can see the actual image on your forum though if you use the BBCode. You don't need to open new tabs to view them.

That's correct. Imgur allows you to drag and drop images and quickly upload them, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. After it's uploaded you can just right click the image and copy the image URL.

I'm not sure, but an admin will be able to explain why.

Would be nice to get this updated to be honest so we don't have to do it like this.. the old fashion way..
