It's been a long time since I've done anything with proboards coding but I'd really like to learn again. With all the new changes on Proboards I really didn't keep up. I've read a few threads but I'm afraid I'm not very good at that there book learning. XD I would really appreciate someone talking with me on skype, vent, teamspeak, or what ever is convenient for you to teach me. I only suggest skype more because of the screen share capability. I'm usually a pretty fast learner, especially with hands on work. This is my site: lotuslien.proboards.com/ as you can tell there's no coding in it right now because i'm still reading through everything. I can't even put in sidebars and headers yet. hahaha. I'm sadly rusty at my html'ing since it's been years since I've ran my board. Please feel free to PM me or respond here with questions if you have any. Also! If I placed this in the wrong part of the board I am very sorry!

If you are still wanting help with this, I think your best bet would be to create a test site to play on and then decide what you want to change. With ProBoards now you can change the layout of the site itself in the template area. You can change the colors in themes. There are premade ProBoards color schemes you can pick or there are premade color schemes made by our wonderful members or you can use your own chosen colors. There are also libraries which contain plug-ins(replaces the old javascript codes we used to stick in our headers/footers) you can use, the theme library and template library. So it may be just telling us what you want to do and us directing you to the right place or you just playing around on your own. One thing great about ProBoards now is if you mess up you can reset to default and try again.

I've gotten all that figured out it's just some of the plugins that confuse me. I've added a few but I'm starting to figure out that they have special coding needs that are not told when you select to install them on the board. This is the part i need help with now that i've figured it out. Most of the other stuff I've been able to do on my own.

If you have a question about a plug-in you can go to the thread where the member posted their plug-in and read over the questions asked by members and chances are, someone else asked the same question. The link below takes you to the plug-in: support.proboards.com/board/35/plugin-library
