So here goes ~ my first submission to the ProBoards Library

Name: Subtleties
Clean lines, Subtle tones
No images necessary. Ease of use for new to ProBoards members. No worry about banner size.
Minor code additions to a few templates which shouldn't interfere with any plugins user chooses to add.
Only plugin utilized is the SideBar Redux
The graphics rely on gradients ~ including the alternating Mini-Profiles, Buttons, and Navigation Bar.
Easy navigation with a Last Post Button, Previous/Next Thread Buttons, Recent Posts/Updated Threads Buttons and Up/Down Scroll on bottom of each post.
Side bar is partially opaque until hovered and in use.

But I need to re-submit it. I'm having problems getting my Visual Editor to match up with the Live Preview. Everything looks fine in the Editor, but it shows differently on the Live Preview.

When you get a chance, could you do me a favor, please? Since it was your eagle eyes that (thankfully) picked up that the typestyles on your end didn't match my screenshots, could you verify that Amatic is showing now? If so, how do I re-submit the new file and screenshots? Board

That's a big a-firmative, ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, the font shows fine for me now. You can update the theme by exporting it the same way you did before, but this time, select the option to update an existing theme during the process instead of adding a new theme.

No matter which of the three browsers I used, the Amatic was showing for me. I would have had no idea it was otherwise for everybody else. And I would have hated to have my first submission bolluxed up.

Most likely you've got the font installed on your computer, whereas David didn't so it would show up with Times New Roman.

I thought the same thing. So I went and checked, but I don't. Unless it's hidden somewhere that I can't find.


EDIT: I just ran a search for it ~ and, indeed, found it. Not in my fonts folder ~ but in documents. Mystery solved.

For the month of November we're running a new contest! There will be two winners: One for the best theme, one for the best plugin. Winners will each receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card!



ProBoards members are invited to create a new theme or plugin that fits into one of the following themes:



Themes: Corporate, Clean, Modern, or Flat



Plugins: Useful Utilities, Moderation Tools, or Social.



Contest Rules



1. Plugins and Themes must be new (not already released or just updating an existing plugin).



2. Entry Period. The entry period begins on November 1st and ends on November 30th at 11:59pm Pacific Time.



3. How to Enter. Create your own unique plugin or theme and submit it to the ProBoards Theme or Plugin Library before December 1st. After doing so, post in this thread with a link to your theme or plugin.



4. Entries. All entries must fit within the theme of the contest to be considered eligible to win the prize. Entries may not contain copyrighted material from third parties.



5. Maximum Entries. You may submit a maximum of 2 plugins and 2 themes for this contest. Any additional plugins or themes submitted beyond this limit will be disregarded for the purposes of winner selection.



6. Plugin and Theme Distribution. By entering this contest you provide ProBoards, Inc. a license to distribute your plugin or theme through its website.



7. Winner Selection. ProBoards will review all entries and select the winner within 30 days. There will be no public vote.



8. Eligibility. ProBoards employees and their relatives are not eligible to win this contest. If ProBoards continues to run this contest in following months, the same winner can win a maximum of 3 times per year.



9. Prize. The winners will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card which will be sent via email to the address you provide within 30 days of the end of this contest.

There's going to be two winners, MC3K_Neonz, one for the theme category and one for the plugin category. I'm not aware of any runner-up prizes (though that doesn't necessarily mean there won't be any) but only the first place winners get the gift card.
