A plug-in to create, say, a weekly digest of the top five threads into a Facebook page (with a short text extract) representing the forum. This would go a long way towards inviting interest to joining that forum.

Can you expand a bit further on that?

Ok, what I'm looking for is a plug-in that can find, say, the 5 busiest threads in the last week, then post them (as you could manually post the thread link) into a Facebook page with a URL that's provided, a page created for that forum. In this way we can attract more members from friends and friends of friends who see and Like the page and can read the weekly digest postings. In this way they may perhaps join the forum.

A plugin wouldn't be able to search for that data or compile it as it can only work with whatever is on the page you're currently viewing. Additionally, a plugin cannot automatically perform actions or tasks without user interaction on a forum.
