Separate Pages help

So I'm making a theme where I want to remove the content in the home tab, and place it in the forum tab. Any idea how to do so ? I used the {if} tag, but it says "$[content]" and "$[header]" cannot be placed in the {if} tag. So, Ya ! Any idea on how to do this ?

Can you go into a bit more detail about what you're trying to do?

For Example,
On the Home tab, I don't want any forumy stuff, rather, a blog-like page
Whereas on the Forum page, i want the forumy stuff
Question is, how to do that ?

If you create a custom page NOT in the wrapper that pretty much give you a clean slate without any forum things except the ads, which have to be there. You'll find a tick box at the bottom of the layout page.
