Current Version 0.1.5 Library LinkDirect LinkThis plugin will allow you to flag 'Important Threads' that will then be listed separately on your forum. By default they will appear on every page above your forum in a similar layout/style as the rest of your forum, but you have the option to move the list to where ever you like and have the list displayed however you like. To flag/unflag threads, go to 'Actions - Moderate' and you should have an extra option at the top of the list. Only staff members can flag threads. Other than that, hopefully everything else is self explanatory, but feel free to ask if you want anything explained. 0.1.5 Added class to pop-up for styling.
0.1.2 Updated placement for some non-standard layouts. Added ability to collapse with categories.
0.1.0 Added functions to re-order and remove threads.
0.0.9 Removed option to set threads as important when on the posting page.
0.0.8 Added option for non-staff to set important threads.
0.0.7 Added option to use default table with your preferred layout.
0.0.5 Added option to use your own image.
0.0.4 Added function to remove a deleted thread from the list. Added function to update the key when thread is renamed.
0.0.3 Added [#username] functionality to work with Wormo's plugin.
0.0.2 Added '[FP]' to the thread options.

Hi,
Thanks for your plugin! I found an issue, though.
If you mark a thread as important & then delete that thread, but don't mark it as unimportant, that deleted thread link still appears & it can't be removed from the important thread list.

Yup, I found that too, and at the moment at least, I can't auto delete an important thread from the list if you remove it from your forum.
I'll add a function for you to manually remove a thread from the list, but until then, all you can do is reset the key and try to remember not to do it again.
Sorry about that.

It's a small thing, and I hate to add to your load, but while "Square Bracket TT Square Bracket" gives the title and the link to the last post in the important thread, what I'd really like is something to give the title, a link to the FIRST post, and a new line for the next important thread rather than having the second show up immediately next to the first.
If you could help an ignorant, old man, I'd be grateful.

Try version 0.0.2 from the Direct Link in the first thread. You should now have the option to include a link to the first post with '[FP]'.

Thank you, I am learning so much.
First, I had to learn what Dropbox was and that I was supposed to install that.
Then after saving your files to dropbox and trying to run them, I received messages asking me how I wanted to open it. Rummaging through the internet I learned that a .pbp file had something to do with Sony Playstation.
At that point, I bowed my head in a silent prayer and resolved to come back here in a week looking for another way to get to 0.0.2.
Thank you.

LOL
You do not need to install Dropbox unless you want to save files online for others to share.
A '.pbp' file is also a 'ProBoards Plugin file.
Click on 'Direct Link' in the first post, then click 'Download'.
Then, while on your forum, go to the Admin Panel, Plugins and Manage. Then, in the top left, find the 'Import Plugin' button, click that and follow the prompts.

Hey Todge, love the plugin! With the image below in mind, there's a couple of questions ... 1) How can I adjust the width where the 2 arrows are pointing .. to fit the arrow and its width below? 2) I like it showing on the home page, however, how I can JUST have it show once you're inside viewing the threads? I can always change the size of the arrow to fit whatever size it needs to be. Thanks! Forum

It looks like you have removed the icons from your forum, if that is the case there is no way you can make the 'i' fit into the same space, it's just too wide.
As for removing the Important Threads from all but the thread pages, you'll need to do a bit of editing to your forums' CSS. Are you happy editing the CSS directly? Or would you rather put it into your forums' headers?

Forum headers would be good. Okidokes, put this in your Main Header (and any other page header where you do NOT want the Important Threads displayed) <style type="text/css"> #important_threads { display: none; } </style>

I added "Important Threads" plug in, but I don't see anywhere to mark a post as important.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you! Kim
