Ahh..

If you put this in your custom page coding where you'd like the Important Threads to appear...

<div id="ITS_Here"></div>

Then put ITS_Here in the Alternate Cell ID option in the settings and the plugin should do the rest.

Also, I like the way it is displayed, except for one thing. I have it without the Thread/Posts/Last Post header on my boards. I have tried to do the same, using the box in the plugin's settings, yet could not get it to match right. Could you help me out with what I'd need to put there, just to remove the header and put the Posts and Last Post text into each thread, like the rest of the boards, please?

To remove the Important Threads from any of your pages, including the custom pages, put this at the top of the template or HTML coding..

<style type="text/css"> #important_threads { display: none; } </style>

Also, can you please try version 0.0.5.

You should now have the option to use your own images instead of the red 'i'.

Is there any way to have it so that threads from a certain category show in their own 'important threads' box.

This is so for Equestriad I can have important series threads as well (would love it if they could be given their own ID so I could show it somewhere different)

not with the plugin as it is.. It would need quite a major update/rewrite to achieve that, but it MAY be possible to sort the important threads with a code in the global footer.

Hi Todge,

This plugin arrived in great timing for use on our forum so it was a great help. Thank you! I don't plan to always have important threads, so I have turned it off while there are not any needing to be highlighted. Is it possible for it to have the board be hidden until important threads are selected?

Also, when I do turn it on, this other plugin, Collapsible Categories doesn't work - link  so I have to choose between the two. Is there some way to address the conflict?

I'll have a look at the collapsible categories, the option to hide a category until a thread is marked as important will take quite a bit of rewriting, I'll see if I can include it in the next update.

Oh, well if it's a lot of work then no need to rewrite it for my sake, because I can easily turn it off when I need to do so.

The collapsible categories plugin is something that affects some members on my forum and may be needed by others, so if you get a chance to make them play nice together that would be good.

I've just tried using this and its not showing at all where I want it... or in general

I'm wanting it to show before Survival Tips and after the Dynamically Tabbed Table - however it would appear that so far this isn't showing at all.

Any help or advice? Also any chance we could have the option to rename the title of Important Threads to whatever we want, and can members mark threads as important (I'm planning on using it for Open Threads)

I can't see either 'Survival Tips' or the Dynamically Tabbed Table on your forum.

But, if you add <div id="ITS_Here"></div> to your page layout where you'd like the Important Threads displayed, and add ITS_Here in the Alternate Cell Id option within the plugin settings, the Important Threads list should be displayed within that <div> on your layout.

Love the layout of it, but I'd like the important thread post links to go to the first post in the thread. I added the [FP] in the Cell Contents > Preferred Format box in Settings, but it then removes the entire container and just has the link. What else do I need to put in the Cell Contents > Preferred Format box to keep the container around the link?
