Flag Important Threads (0.1.5)

I need shooting now! In my stupidity, I decided that the only thing I could do was delete the plugin and then install it again.
Did I save the settings? Of course not!
So now I'm left with trying to get it back to how I had it before. At the moment, I can't seem to get my important thread (I'm testing it with random posts) to appear horizontally, they're only appearing vertically at the moment.
Your help will be hugely appreciated.

Can you post a link to a board where the Important Threads are being displayed.. I can't find them on your forum to see what's going on.

Can you post a link to a board where the Important Threads are being displayed.. I can't find them on your forum to see what's going on.

You are trying to use your own format, but have also chosen to use the standard set-up.

This can be done, but you'd need to use HTML to make it work, which I can help you with if you wish, but looking at what you are tying to display, try removing your preferred format and leave the rest as is, and let the plugin sort it out for you.

Todge, I followed your advice and things are looking like they should now, thank you.
One small problem though; I've just made this thread 'Important' but it doesn't show up in the Important Threads.

Golf Bets is a board, not a thread. You should not be able to mark that as important.

Golf Bets is a board but within that I created a thread called Made in Denmark (Thu 24 Aug - Sun 27 Aug) and marked it as Important.

I wasn't 100% sure what you meant by that but I went to Important Threads Settings > Key Settings. The Read permissions was set to Everyone and I changed the Write permissions from Everyone to Staff. The box, Users can write to their own content, was ticked. I clicked on Save Changes and restartd the browser.

I then went to a thread that I created on Monday and flagged the first post as Important. Unfortunately, nothing has appeared in Important Threads.

I then created a new post in Announcements called Important Threads test and flagged it as Important, but still no joy.

Sorry.. When I said to clear the key, I meant for you to do this...

In the Admin Panel, click Plugins >> Manage. Then click the 'Keys' tab.

Find the 'important_thread' key and click on 'Clear' to the right. You should get a pop-up asking you to confirm. If you have done it correctly the 'Clear' text should change color from blue to black.

Then refresh the page, or restart the browser, and try setting a thread as Important again and see if it then works.

In the 'Preferred Format' option it appears you have two carriage returns. Ensure that that field is totally empty otherwise the plugin will try to display what you have entered there. In this case two empty lines.

I have also added a function to remove erroneous threads directly from the Important Threads list..
