custom pages widget to a board or page within forum

not for sure to put under plug in or , but here goes , on the custom pages the calander widget is great my needs are to not have it on the navigation bar in main forum , only in a certian cat, board for now i did a link to page in a thread works but not ideal , is there a way using the same widget in the custome page in a thread post or in the header of a board i want the events list like the widget, hope this makes sense ,cause i think i confused me , anyhow the how to either do or direction to help on this

Unfortunately the calendar is only available on the Calendar page or on a custom page via a widget -- it's not possible right now to pull up the calendar on pages other than that.

Not for the calendar, clever, since some back-end code helps it to display the proper date, etc, and that code only executes on the pages I mentioned before. Sorry.
