Hi!
I know nothing about graphic design and I was wondering if someone could design for me a header image for a blog I'm writing called The Sponge. It's a very uplifting blog focused on the philosophy of living life in the moment, staying positive, and trying to be the best person you can be. The idea behind The Sponge is that you "soak up" life and don't miss a moment. Also, the other meaning is hidden in ability of actual sea sponges. They can regenerated themselves even when there are only a few molecules of the original sponge left. Several pieces of a sponge can all regrow into separate, fully functioning sponges. The theme is self growth and building yourself up!
Here is an example of the template I'm using. It has the font of the title and the basic format of the main page, but I don't have the image like the one shown here. I'm looking for something of similar aesthetic to the pear header. But not a pear, obviously. Pastel colors are good. Anything that is calm and bright and uplifting. Nothing complicated, simple is better!
I don't know if there's a way to mimic a round sponge in the same style that the pear is in. I have no idea how that would be done. But any other ideas are also welcome. There shouldn't be any text in the header. Just an image and a background. I'm open for shapes that might resemble something sponge-like. But I'm curious to see what you come up with!
